Mountain RF Sensors, Inc. Announces the Enhanced MtRF-5610 GPS Disciplined 10 MHz Frequency Reference

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 30, 2016 — As the latest addition to a growing product line, Mountain RF Sensors (MtRF) is announcing the MtRF-5610 GPS Disciplined 10 MHz Frequency Reference.

With eight outputs, the MtRF-5610 eliminates the need for a separate frequency source and RF distribution unit (or multi-coupler). Along with the 10 MHz outputs, time information is also available via a serial output. The serial output support a 1 PPS mode and NMEA-0183. In the event of loss of GPS signal, the unit will continue to operate as a high-accuracy OCXO until the GPS signal is restored.

The 1 PPS signal is accurate to ±35 ns to UTC RMS. The 10 MHz output has a noise floor of -155 dBc. Holdover stability is < ±10us over 24 hours. The MtRF-5610 is designed for an operational temperature range of -20˚C to +60˚C. The MtRF-5610 is available in a 8.66" x 6.50" x 2.03" module or a 1U, 19 inch rackmount enclosure and operates from 90–250 VAC line power. Mountain RF Sensors, Inc. Announces the Enhanced MtRF-6000 Direct Mount UAV Antennas

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 16, 2016 — Providing another answer to the question “What have you been missing?” Mountain RF Sensors is announcing their latest addition to a growing product line, an enhanced version of their MtRF-6000 Direct Mount UAV Antennas.

Mountain RF Sensors is now offering the MtRF-6000 series antennas with direct-mount capability. The antenna is provided already bonded to a circular 1/8″ thick Vinylester FRP mount, complete with 6 mounting holes, greatly simplifying installation on ground or air platforms. This configuration allows for the antenna to be flush mounted with no additional hardware.

The MRFS-6000 series antennas are annular-slot designs that provide wide frequency coverage exceeding a decade. They are vertically polarized with an omnidirectional azimuth pattern. The flush mounting produces almost zero aerodynamic drag, outperforming blade and whip style antennas.

The antennas are covert, giving little clue as to the purpose or frequency range. Combined with small size and low weight, the antennas are ideal for SIGINT and COMINT applications on UAV platforms. Five models are offered to cover the RF spectrum from 5 MHz to 1,000 MHz.
